‘Reformist’ Rouhani Fights Hardliners in 2nd Iranian Presidential Debate

The second presidential debate took place in Iran and while President Rouhani came under heavy fire from hardline rivals, they all agreed on one thing: The nuclear deal is a good thing for the theocratic, jihadist Islamic Republic of Iran. The first debate was won by Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri in a landslide, while the candidate favored by the Supreme Leader, Ebrahim Raisi, was seen as the big loser. One online poll showed that 42% said Jahangiri won, followed by 34% for Rouhani and 15% for Bagher Qalibaf. Most observers assume Jahangiri will drop out and endorse Rouhani before the…

Iran Tried to Strike US Naval Base: Bahrain

The Iranian regime may have backed off of a ballistic missile test following President Trump’s sanctions and threats, but its jihad through proxies continues unabated. The U.S.-allied government of Bahrain just wrapped up another Iranian sleeper cell network that was planning to attack the base of the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet, according to the Bahraini government. The announcement came after Bahrain arrested 14 terror suspects, 11 of which were allegedly trained directly by Iran and its barely concealed puppets. Six were trained by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), five by the Iraqi branch of Hezbollah and three got their…

Iran’s 6 Presidential Candidates for May 19 ‘Election’

The Iranian regime has approved of six presidential candidacies, disqualifying over 1,600 -- including over 130 women -- who filed to run. The “election” will be held on May 19, followed by a runoff between the top two vote-getters if no candidate wins a majority. Before reviewing the candidates, we should look at how this sham “election” takes place. To run for president in Iran, the Guardian Council must approve of the candidacy. Only six of over 1,600 candidacies were approved. Thus, it must be assumed that any distinction being mentioned between “moderate” and “conservative” candidates is very minor. The…

2 Hezbollah Terrorists Arrested for Preparing Attack on U.S., including NY

6/10/2017 The pace of jihadist activity has been so intense lately that an incredibly important story has been barely reported on: Two terrorists belonging to Hezbollah, a puppet of the Iranian and Syrian regimes, have been arrested for planning attacks on the U.S., with one scouting potential targets in New York including JFK International Airport. And both are citizens who entered, exited and re-entered the U.S. Although the Iranian and Syrian regimes regularly organize terrorist attacks through its Hezbollah proxy, the plotting of attacks on U.S. soil and on Americans overseas is very significant (but not unprecedented).  The two arrested terrorists are Ali Kourani of the Bronx, New…

5 Ways Iran is Disarming the West

9/28/2015 The deal with Iran does not disarm the regime of its nuclear weapons capacity, but it does go a long way towards disarming someone: The West. There are five ways that the deal handcuffs the U.S. and its allies by undermining their options against Iran in the future. 1. Disarming the Sanctions Option The deal's supporters claim that the international sanctions that collapsed the Iranian economy will immediately "snap back" if the regime violates the deal, so why not give it a try? To believe that claim, you have to believe that our international partners are willing to hurt…
