I’ve been asked repeatedly to put my Candace Owens reporting in one place. This is it. I’ll keep it updated as the work continues.
To be clear about what this is: I am documenting Owens’ documented contacts, appearances, and public positions relating to Russia, and I am raising specific disclosure questions she has not answered. Readers can weigh the record themselves.
The Moscow trip that wasn’t a vacation
In June 2026, Owens presented her trip to Russia as a family vacation — cathedral visits, tourist photos, her husband’s fishing trips.
That wasn’t the whole picture. I published documentation showing she was a scheduled speaker at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Kremlin’s state-managed answer to Davos. SPIEF is not a tourist stop. It is the venue Russia uses to demonstrate to its own population that Western figures still show up when invited.
I also asked publicly whether Putin would award Owens the Order of Friendship at the forum — the medal Russia gives foreigners who strengthen ties with the Kremlin — and whether the trip was groundwork for something more permanent than a visit.

The questions Candace won’t answer
In April I laid out the disclosure questions that still stand:
- What communications has she had with Alexander Dugin, the Russian ideologue whose work functions as an intellectual bridge for Kremlin influence in the West?
- When and why did she endorse a Putin-style Tsarist model of government?
These are basic questions. Any commentator with an audience her size should be able to answer them in a sentence each.
